What to do when a password does not appear in a Zoom meeting issued by TimeRex
Updated over 2 months ago

When Zoom is linked and "Zoom" is selected in the "Web Conference Settings" of the scheduling calendar, a Zoom meeting will be issued upon completion of the scheduling process.

The password and other security settings that are automatically issued upon completion of scheduling are based on the settings on the Zoom side, and the URL is issued accordingly.

If a meeting password is not issued when a Zoom meeting is issued, please try the following procedure.

*The administrator of the Zoom team should operate it.

Notes

This setting changes Zoom in general and affects the following

  • If you have a team of multiple people using Zoom, this setting will be applied to all team members.

  • This will apply to meetings that are not held via TimeRex.

How to set up (procedure on a PC)

  1. From the administration page of your Zoom, go to Account Settings from Account Management at the bottom of the left sidebar.

  2. On the Account Settings page, activate the "Meeting Passcode" setting and click on the key symbol to set it to locked.

By following the above steps, you will always be issued a password as well.

FAQ

I activated "Meeting Passcode", but no password is issued upon completion of scheduling.

If you are a Zoom administrator with general user privileges, the key mark will not be displayed when you activate the "Meeting Passcode".

Please click the key mark to set the lock status after the "Meeting Passcode" is activated by the Zoom administrator.

The Zoom passcode does not seem to be issued on the "Schedule Adjustment Completion" screen.

For security reasons, the Zoom passcode is not displayed on the "Schedule Adjustment Completion" screen.

To check your Zoom passcode, you will receive an email when you have completed the schedule adjustment, or you can check the details of the appointment registered in the linked calendar.
