After Zoom integration, select "Zoom" in the "Online Meeting Settings" section of the Schedule Adjustment Calendar, and a Zoom meeting URL will be automatically issued upon completion of the booking.
The availability of Zoom meeting passcodes and waiting rooms, which are automatically issued upon completion of a booking through Zoom integration, is based on Zoom settings.
Due to Zoom specifications, settings for automatically issued Zoom meetings are applied in the order of priority specified in [Zoom Admin Settings → Personal Settings].
If you would like to change your settings, please check the following in your Zoom administrator.
Specifications and settings on the Zoom side
We assume that the Zoom side requires either or both [Meeting Passcode] and [Waiting Room] to be [Enable] for each Zoom meeting.
There seem to be several patterns in the security settings (passcode, waiting room, etc.) on the Zoom side.
Zoom refers to these patterns as "scenarios" and summarizes the behavior of each scenario on the following Zoom Developers page.
Regardless of whether the Zoom meeting is issued by TimeRex, all Zoom meetings have different conditions for [Enable]/[Disable] the [Meeting Passcode] setting and the [Waiting Room] setting depending on the selected setting pattern, i.e., scenario.
Please set Zoom settings to achieve the desired behavior (scenario).
General Methods of Response
Due to Zoom specifications, settings for automatically issued Zoom meetings are applied in the order of priority specified in [Zoom Admin Settings → Personal Settings].
For this reason, in many cases, whether or not passcodes and waiting rooms are used is determined based on the settings locked with a key mark in the Zoom Admin Settings.
* The "Zoom Admin Settings" is different from the "Zoom Personal Settings".
* The "Zoom Admin Settings" is only visible to Zoom administrators.
If you change your Zoom Admin Settings, it will have the following effects.
Applies to everyone in the Zoom tenant
Applies to Zoom meetings issued other than via TimeRex
Please be aware of the above effects and change your Zoom Admin Settings as necessary.
If you wish to change your Zoom Admin Settings, your Zoom administrator will need to check your "Account Settings" in the Zoom Admin Settings.
Please change the [Meeting Passcode] and [Waiting Room] settings and lock each setting with a key mark.
(e.g.) If you wish to issue a passcode and no waiting room
Set [Meeting Passcode] to [Enable] and lock with the key mark
Set [Waiting Room] to [Disable] and lock with key mark
* Click on the key mark, and when the color of the key mark changes from white to blue, the key is locked.
