After Zoom integration, select "Zoom" in the "Online Meeting Settings" section of the Schedule Adjustment Calendar, and a Zoom meeting URL will be automatically issued upon completion of the booking.
Whether or not a passcode or waiting room is issued for the Zoom meeting, which is automatically issued when the booking is completed, is based on the settings on the Zoom side.
TimeRex will prioritize [Zoom Admin Settings → Personal Settings] when automatically issuing Zoom meeting URLs.
If you would like to change your settings, please check the following in your Zoom administrator.
Specifications and settings on the Zoom side
We assume that the Zoom side requires either or both [Meeting Passcode] and [Waiting Room] to be [Enable] for each Zoom meeting.
There seem to be several patterns in the security settings (passcode, waiting room, etc.) on the Zoom side.
Regardless of whether the Zoom meeting is issued by TimeRex or not, the [Enable]/[Disable] conditions for the [Meeting Passcode] setting and the [Waiting Room] setting vary depending on the pattern you choose.
Please refer to the Zoom Developers page below to set up a scenario that will result in the desired behavior.
Please confirm the above details on the Zoom side.
General Methods of Response
In many cases, the passcode or waiting room is determined based on the setting that is locked with a key mark in the Zoom Admin Settings, because TimeRex prioritizes in the order of [Zoom Admin Settings → Personal Settings].
* Zoom Admin Settings are different from Zoom Personal Settings.
If you change your Zoom Admin Settings, it will have the following effects.
Applies to everyone in the Zoom tenant
Applies to Zoom meetings issued other than via TimeRex
Please be aware of the above effects and change your Zoom Admin Settings as necessary.
If you wish to change your Zoom Admin Settings, your Zoom administrator will need to check your "Account Settings" in the Zoom Admin Settings.
Please change the [Meeting Passcode] and [Waiting Room] settings and lock each setting with a key mark.
(e.g.) If you wish to issue a passcode and no waiting room
Set [Meeting Passcode] to [Enable] and lock with the key mark
Set [Waiting Room] to [Disable] and lock with key mark
* Click on the key mark, and when the color of the key mark changes from white to blue, the key is locked.
