Trial use of Premium Plan

Premium Plan features are available free of charge in the form of a trial for about two weeks.

If you do not sign up for an actual contract during the trial period, you will automatically revert back to the Free Plan at the end of the trial period.

Please be assured that no charges will be automatically incurred unless the actual contract is signed.

Although only the Premium Plan is available for trials, you can choose not only the Premium Plan but also the Basic Plan when you move from a trial to an actual contract.

Alternatively, you are welcome to try the Free Plan first.

To try the Free Plan, you can create a TimeRex account in 20 seconds or so and start using it right away.

Notes at the start of trial

Anyone can start a trial.

Start in a Free Plan team with no trial history, in which you yourself are the Owner.

Only the team Owner is allowed to sign an actual contract during the trial as well.

The trial period will last until 23:59, 14 days counting from the day the trial starts.

At the start of the trial, the team will automatically be allotted 50 licenses.

Therefore, up to 50 members with roles that consume licenses can belong to a team.

Members with roles that do not consume licenses may belong to an unlimited number of teams.

* For Free Plan teams before the trial starts, the maximum number of team members is limited to 100 in total, regardless of whether or not a license is required.

For members over 50 licenses, please invite members or change to a role that consumes licenses, after the trial period ends or after the actual contract.

*Teams requiring 51 licenses or more cannot start the trial.

Start your trial

You can start your trial from the Plan / Price page or from within the TimeRex dashboard.

You can start your trial by clicking the "Try for Free" button in the Premium Plan location on the Plan / Price page.

There is a toggle button to select annual/monthly contract, but it does not matter which one is selected since the actual contract can be selected at the time of the actual contract.

Clicking on the "Try for Free" button will open the registration/login screen.

* If you are login and click the button, you will be redirected to TimeRex top [https://timerex.net].

<For new registrations>

If you do not have a TimeRex account, please register a new account.

You can start your trial with a team that is automatically created when you register an account.

After registration and easy initial setup, the trial confirmation screen will open.

<For login>

If you already have a TimeRex account, please login.

Once login is completed, the team picker screen will open.

On the team picker screen, Free Plan teams that you are the Owner of and that have never done a trial history are active and available for selection.

* Teams requiring 51 licenses or more will not be active and will be grayed out.

Alternatively, you can create a new team for the trial.

After selecting or creating a team, the trial confirmation screen opens.

Start your trial from within the TimeRex dashboard

If you already have a TimeRex account, the team Owner can start your trial from within your dashboard.

The following three ways are available.

  • "Premium Trial" button on the dashboard header

  • "Try Premium Plan" button on the left column of the dashboard

  • In the ["Team Settings" button > "Plan" menu > "Change plan" button], click the “Try for Free” button in the Premium plan location

* Teams requiring 51 licenses or more will not see the trial button (instead, they can upgrade immediately)

* For Administrator or Administrator Assistant, only an immediate upgrade is possible.

Either way, the trial confirmation screen will appear.

Please check the trial period and notes on the trial confirmation screen.

Clicking the "Start the Trial" button starts the trial immediately.

During the trial period, for all team members, a banner will be displayed at the top of the team's dashboard.

From the banner, you can check the trial period and access the trial confirmation screen.

In case of not signing an actual contract

If you do not sign up for an actual contract during the trial period, you will be automatically downgraded at the end of the trial period and reverted back to the Free Plan.

Please be assured that no fees will be charged unless an actual contract is signed.

After the trial period, the team itself can continue to use the service.

However, when automatically downgraded to the Free Plan, all settings using features outside of the Free Plan will be deleted.

Once deleted, settings cannot be restored, even if you upgrade to a Basic or Premium plan after downgrading.

In case of signing an actual contract

The team Owner can sign the actual contract during the trial period.

The trial is only for the Premium Plan, but you can choose either the Basic or Premium Plan for the actual contract.

This is done through the "Apply for a plan" button, which can be found both in the header of the dashboard and in the ["Team Settings" button > "Plan" menu].

If an actual contract is signed during the trial period, the trial ends at that time and the paid contract begins immediately.

In the case of an actual contract for the Basic Plan, all settings using the Premium Plan features will be deleted when the contract is signed.

Once deleted, settings cannot be restored, even if you subsequently upgrade to the Premium Plan.

It is possible to upgrade after the trial period has ended and you have downgraded to the Free Plan, but at the time of downgrading, all settings using features outside the Free Plan have been deleted and cannot be restored.

Invoice payment can be discussed if all of the following conditions are met.

  • Corporate Use

  • Sign up for the Premium Plan

  • annual contract (2 or more licenses)

If you wish to sign up for an actual contract with invoice payment and meet all of the above requirements, please contact us at least 3 business days prior to the end of the trial period using the messenger icon in the lower right corner.

If you contact us after that time, the upgrade will take the form of an environment in which the trial period has ended and you have been downgraded to the Free Plan.

All settings using features outside the Free Plan will be deleted upon downgrade, and once deleted, they cannot be restored even if you subsequently upgrade.

Notes on Licenses

Whether or not a license is required depends on the role.

  • Roles that consume licenses: Owner / Administrator / Member

  • Roles that do not consume licenses: Administrator Assistant / Assistant

Users in the Owner, Administrator, and Member roles that consume licenses can be set as participating members when scheduling, but users in the Administrator Assistant and Assistant roles that do not consume licenses cannot be set as participating members.

If necessary, change each member's role before upgrading.

Actual contract process

  1. The team Owner clicks on the "Apply for a plan" button in the dashboard header or in the ["Team Settings" button > "Plan" menu].

    • If anyone other than the Owner tries to perform the actual contract, the "You do not have permission to upgrade your team. Please contact the team administrator." error message will be displayed.

  2. Select the contract period (annual or monthly) and click the "Sign up for this Plan" button for the plan of your choice.

    • The trial is only for the Premium Plan, but you can choose to downgrade to the Basic Plan as well as the Premium Plan when you sign up for the actual contract.

    • If you wish to revert back to the Free Plan after the trial period ends, you do not need to go through this process or any other process, just wait until the trial period ends and you will be automatically downgraded to the Free Plan.

  3. Enter Billing Information, Payment Information, and number of licenses on the Plan contract screen.

    • The number of members consuming licenses is the number of licenses.

  4. If you want to change the number of licenses, enter the number of licenses after the change from the pop-up that opens when you click the "Change" button, then click the "Change" button.

  5. Confirm the details and click the "Plan Contract" button.

  6. Once payment is completed, you will immediately start using the plan you signed up for.

    • If you choose the Basic Plan, you will be downgraded immediately and all settings using the Premium Plan features will be deleted.

    • Once deleted by downgrading, settings cannot be restored under any circumstances.
