Usage fees for additional license purchases during the contract period
Updated over a month ago

If you already have a license and purchase additional licenses during the term of the license, you will be billed on a pro-rated basis from the day you purchase the additional license until the next renewal date.

If you purchase additional licenses during your monthly contract

Additional licenses will be charged on a pro-rated basis until the renewal date of the following month.

The formula for calculating the daily rate is as follows

Total daily fee = ( monthly fee / number of days in the month ) x number of days remaining including the day

If you purchase an additional license during an annual contract

Additional licenses will be prorated on a daily basis only for the month in which you apply for an additional license, and the monthly fee will be used for all other months after that.

The amount to be charged for an annual contract is (1) + (2) in the following formula

(1) For the month of application

Total daily fee = ( monthly fee / number of days in the month ) x number of days remaining including the day

(2) For the months thereafter

Subsequent usage fee = monthly fee x number of months remaining

For example,

April 1, 2020.>10 licenses for an annual contract

July 15, 2020.>Purchase 2 additional licenses

April 1, 2021.>Termination and renewal of an annual contract

In the above case, the additional two licenses will be calculated on a pro-rated basis for the 17 days from July 15, 2020 to July 31, 2020, and the eight months from August 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021 will be calculated at the monthly fee.

The total one-year usage fee is

( 10 licenses x 12 months ) +( ( monthly fee / 31 days of July ) x 17 days x 2 licenses ) + ( monthly fee x additional 8 months x 2 licenses )
